Description
ROOT are still one of the biggest bands that Czechoslovakia have put out in metal, especially in the first wave of black metal. Stylistically we are somewhere in the Black/Thrash area, the satanic ideology and presentation allow us to classify it as conventional Black Metal. Big Boss made this more than clear over 30 years ago, even if a lot of it was of an artistic nature. Or not? Be that as it may, ROOT shouldn’t be differentiated or even stigmatized in this way. Many other aspects, such as geographical location and the political zeitgeist, influenced ROOT, like many other artists based in the Eastern Bloc (communism and other stuff). The result: clearly an amazing debut. “Zjevení” is still underestimated and unheard by many today, but we have at least as interesting material as Masters Hammer, Bathory, etc. At this point we hardly need to go into the diversity of this release. We have decided to re-release “Zjevení” as close to the original as possible. We refurbished the old scans a bit and changed as little as possible on the layout to keep this release 100% authentic.
“Zjevení” is available in 4 different vinyl colors.
180g vinyl.
Cover sleeve with 4mm spine come with UV spot varnish and red inside flood.
Two sided A2 poster, printed on 170g offset paper.
The two page insert as in the original pressing is also part of this release (minor changes).
